NASCAR News: New Baby and Car Changes

NASCAR is exciting news this week! There's a new baby in the racing family and some changes to the race cars. Let's learn about what's happening.

Bubba Wallace's New Baby

Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda have a new baby! Their daughter, Bex Hayden, was born on Sunday. Bubba shared some cute pictures of the baby. He even raced in Charlotte after the baby was born. That must have been tiring!

"Congratulations to both of you guys. As a mom, I will tell you this: there's no job that is better in the world," said a NASCAR reporter.

Changes to the Race Cars

NASCAR is making some changes to the race cars for the big race at Talladega. These changes are to help keep the cars safe. Here are the main changes:

  • Higher roof rail
  • Adjusted rocker panel skirt
  • Fabric under the right side roof flap

These changes should help keep the cars from lifting off the ground during races. The engineers worked hard to make the cars safer without changing how they race.

Racing at Talladega

Talladega is a famous racetrack. It's known for exciting, close racing. Even with the changes to the cars, the racing should still be just as exciting.

Mike Ford, who works for NASCAR, said:

"We're going to see the same kind of outstanding, close side-by-side, exciting racing that we've always seen at Talladega."

Young Racers in Training

Chase Brisco shared a cute video of his 3-year-old son using a racing simulator. The little boy is already following in his dad's footsteps!

Chase and his wife are also expecting twins soon. Another NASCAR driver, Noah Gragson, might have accidentally shared this news early on social media.

NASCAR Families

NASCAR is all about family. We see this with:

  1. New babies being born
  2. Kids learning to race young
  3. Second-generation drivers moving up

Carson Qule, age 21, is moving up to the Xfinity Series. His dad, Travis Qule, was a NASCAR champion in 2003.

Here's a table showing some NASCAR family connections:

Chase Brisco 3-year-old son, twins on the way

NASCAR is exciting on and off the track. From new babies to car changes, there's always something happening in the world of racing!
